Continuing with his series of questions posed to PM Narendra Modi ahead of Gujarat Assembly elections, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday questioned the prime minister on note ban, demonetisation and price rise.
Rahul Gandhi, who has been attacking the prime minister over various issues in "a question a day" series on Twitter, even tweeted a Hindi couplet and demanded answers from him for "unfulfilled promises" made by Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party.
"Poll rhetoric, note ban and Goods and Services Tax (GST) have hit the common man badly. And the price rise has only increased problems of a common man. Is the BJP running government only for the rich? (Jumlo ki bewfaai maar gayi, notebandi ki lutai maar gayi, GST saari kamai maar gayi, baki kuch bacha to mahengai maar gayi. Badhte daamo se jeena dushwar, bas ameero ki hogi bhajpa sarkar)," he tweeted.
On Monday, the Gandhi scion hit out at PM Modi, targeting him for unemployment among youth and poor wages to workers despite the 7th Pay Commission recommendations.
The Assembly elections in Gujarat will be held in two phases on December 9 and 14. The counting of votes will take place on December 18.
