The political fervour is gaining pace in Gujarat ahead of the state Assembly elections, with the polling for the first phase to take place on December 9.
The election has more or less turned into a prestige issue for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who would looking to retain its turf, which it has been ruling for the last 22 years.
On the other hand, the Congress is anxiously hoping to turn the tide with its aggressive campaigning and inviting manifesto, in which it has focused on appeasing the Patidar community and farmers of the state.
At this point, India TV-VMR has come up with the final opinion poll, to get a glimpse of the view of the people of Gujarat about the upcoming political battle.
It will be interesting to see if people have embraced Modi government’s economic reforms and infrastructural developments brought by it in the coastal state, or if they are convinced by the alluring poll promises made by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
