Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday released a list of of star campaigners for Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2018. The list includes big names like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, along with 10 other Union ministers and four chief ministers.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minitser Arun Jaitley, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh will campaign for BJP in upcoming polls in Chhattisgarh.
Uma Bharti, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad, JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath and Devendra Fadnavis will also campaign for incumbent CM Raman Singh.
BJP has issued the list of candidates for 78 out of 90 seats. The party has retained several sitting MLAs. The BJP has given tickets to 32 sitting MLAs, including 11 serving ministers.It has denied ticket to only one minister -- Ramsheela Sahu, who is an MLA from the Durg rural seat.
The two-phase state polls will be held on November 12 and 20.
