Kangan Assembly Elections 2024 Results - Kangan is one of the Assembly constituencies in Jammu & Kashmir. The constituency is a GEN seat. The JKN, the JKPDP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, Altaf Ahmad from JKN won the seat with a margin of 1,432 votes. Altaf Ahmad was polled 25,812 votes with a vote share of 47.12 % and defeated Bashir Ahmad Mir from JKPDP who got 24,380 votes (44.50 %). In the 2008 Assembly Elections, Altaf Ahmad from JKN won the seat and was polled 19,210 votes with a vote share of 54.98%. JKPDP Assembly Elections 2024 Results -JKPDP candidate Bashir Ahmad Mir got 11,495 votes (32.90 %) and was the runner-up.Altaf Ahmad defeated Bashir Ahmad Mir by a margin of 7,715 votes.
