Banihal Assembly Elections 2024 Results - Banihal is one of the Assembly constituencies in Jammu & Kashmir. The constituency is a GEN seat. The INC, the JKPDP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, Vikar Rasool Wani from INC won the seat with a margin of 4,349 votes. Vikar Rasool Wani was polled 17,671 votes with a vote share of 30.65 % and defeated Bashir Ahmed Runyal from JKPDP who got 13,322 votes (23.10 %). In the 2008 Assembly Elections, Vikar Rasool from INC won the seat and was polled 8,287 votes with a vote share of 17.38%. IND Assembly Elections 2024 Results -IND candidate Showkat Javed got 5,254 votes (11.02 %) and was the runner-up.Vikar Rasool defeated Showkat Javed by a margin of 3,033 votes.
