The BJP, the IND are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Assembly Elections, Anil Vij from BJP won the seat with a margin of 20,165 votes. Anil Vij was polled 64,571 votes with a vote share of 53.04 % and defeated Chitra Sarwara from IND who got 44,406 votes (36.48 %). In the 2014 Assembly Elections, Anil Vij from BJP won the seat and was polled 66,605 votes with a vote share of 52.49%. INC Assembly Elections 2024 Results -INC candidate Ch.
