No change in NEET syllabus, clarifies CBSE; exam to be held on May 6

The NEET will be held on May 6. The application process for the exam is expected to begin soon.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a clarification stating that there is no change in the syllabus of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018.

"The syllabus of NEET (UG) 2018 will be exactly same as it was for NEET (UG) 2017. There is no change in the syllabus of NEET (UG) 2018," it reads. 

The Board’s clarification came following reports doing the rounds that there are changes in the syllabus this year. 

Students can check the syllabus at the official website cbseneet.nic.in 

The NEET will be held on May 6. The application process for the exam is expected to begin soon. 

Last year, the exam was conducted on May 7. Over 11 lakh students had appeared for the medical entrance test.
