The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will be announcing the WBJEE Result 2024 soon.Candidates who took part in the said exam can view and download their results from the official website wbjeeb.in. Along with the results, the Board will release the cut-off marks, rank-wise list, final answer key, toppers list, and other relevant information of the results. In order to download results, candidates will have to provide their application number, password, and security pin on the login page.
Following the announcement of the exam result, the board will conduct common counselling sessions to facilitate admissions to institutes. WBJEE Result: Steps to check the result
Candidates can check and download their results by following the mentioned steps:
1. Visit the official website - wbjeeb.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the link 'WBJEE result 2024'.
3. Then, log in by filling in the required details and click on submit.
4. The result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Save and download it for future reference.
The WBJEE exam took place on April 28 in two shifts. Paper 1 (Mathematics) was conducted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by Paper 2 (Physics, Chemistry) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The provisional answer key was released on May 6, allowing candidates to raise objections until May 9. OMR sheets, responses, and challenge responses.were released on May 22.
The exam, administered in OMR-based format, serves as a Common Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture across various universities, government colleges, and Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in West Bengal for the academic session 2024-25.
This year, approximately 1 lakh candidates appeared for the WBJEE examination, seeking admission into BTech and BPharm courses. The exam was conducted across 328 exam centres, spanning 23 districts in West Bengal, as well as in Tripura and Assam. In 2023, out of 97,524 candidates, an impressive 99.4% successfully passed the examination.
