TS PGECET 2024 admit cards to be out tomorrow, check when and how to download

TS PGECET admit cards will be issued by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad, on May 28. Candidates will be able to download it through the official website- pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

The admit card for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2024 will be issued by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad tomorrow, May 28. Registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website - pgecet.tsche.ac.in. The candidates will have to use their registration number and date of birth to log in and download the PGECET admit card.

Details on Admit Cards

Candidates are advised to cross-check the details mentioned on their hall tickets. In case of any discrepancy, they may contact the exam authority immediately. The following details will be mentioned on TS PGECET 2024 admit card:-

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll Number
  • Exam Date
  • Exam Venue
  • Reporting Time 

Exam Schedule

The exams will be conducted from June 10 to June 13 at various exam cntres. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to take place from June 5 to June 8. The examination is conducted on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to regular postgraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, technology, architecture, and graduate-level Pharm-D.

The exams will be conducted in two shifts, the first shift (morning session) from 10 am to 12 pm, and the second shift (afternoon session) from 2 pm to 4 pm. 

Exam Pattern

It is a computer-based test (CBT) of two hours, with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, each question carrying one mark. There will be no negative mark for any incorrect answer. A 25 percent of maximum marks i.e. 30 marks will be required to qualify. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, there is no minimum qualifying percentage prescribed and the ranks will be issued based on the marks. The TS PGECET exam will be held at Hyderabad and Warangal. 

"As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) approval." - stated in the instruction notice.
