The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has changed the State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) counselling dates. The counselling registration for phase 1 will commence on July 4 instead of June 27, as per the new notification provided by the authority. Candidates who qualified in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test can participate in the TS EAMCET counselling process from the official website, tgeapcet.nic.in. The last date to fill out the application form is July 12, as per the revised schedule.
The TS EAMCET is a state-level exam which gets conducted to enroll eligible candidates in BE, BTech, BPharm, PharmD, BSc, BFSc and BVSc courses offered by various institutes in the state. Candidates who secured 45 per cent (for OC) and 40 per cent (for other) and qualified in the examination will be able to proceed with the counselling process and seat allotment.
"As per Govt U.O.Note.No,4634/Genl, L&C/2024 General Administration (General, L&C) Department, Dated: 17-05-2024 all website URLs are changed from TS to TG. The Candidates and Parents are hereby informed to note that the entrance examination conducted with TSEAPCET shall be read with TGEAPCET for the purpose of admission," stated the authority in the revised notification.
TSEAMCET 2024 Revised counselling schedule
The first phase will begin on July 4. The registration, processing fee payment and slot booking will be active from July 4 to July 12 which was earlier scheduled to take place from June 27 to July 5. The certificate verification will be done from July 6 to July 13 and the candidates will be able to exercise web options from July 8 to July 15. Candidates will be able to freeze options on July 15 and the provisional allotment of seats will be taking place on or before July 19. Candidates will have to pay tuition fees and self-report through the website from July 19 to July 23.
The second phase of counselling will commence on July 26 and the certificate verification will take place on July 27. From July 27 to 28 candidates will be able to exercise options and on July 28 freezing of options will be available. The provisional allotment of seats will be done on or before July 31. Candidates will have to pay tuition fees and self-report through the website and in person to the respective colleges from July 31 to August 2.
The final phase of counselling will take place on August 8 and the seat allotment for the same will be done on August 13. Centralised internal sliding by the convenor will begin from August 21 and the spot admission guidelines for private unaided engineering colleges will be done on August 28.
