NEET UG 2024 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). All those who appeared in the NEET UG 2024 exam can download their results using their roll number, date of birth and other details. Check login link, cut-off, and relevant information here.

NEET UG 2024 results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 results ten days before the scheduled date. The results for over 24 lakh students were announced on June 4th. Along with the result announcement, the testing agency released the final answer key, scorecards, toppers list, result statistics, and other relevant information on its official website. Candidates who have yet not downloaded NEET UG 2024 results can do so from the official website of NEET.

NEET UG 2024 cut-off increases

As per the results, A total of 67 candidates obtained All India Rank (AIR) with a highest marks of 99.997129 percentile. Also, NEET-cut off marks this year have also been increased. The NEET cutoff marks and qualifying criteria for general category is 50, for General-Ph category 45 percent, for OBC/SC/ST category 40 percent. 

NTA clarifies grace marks, medical aspirants demand re-exam

Hours after the declaration of the results, the testing agency clarified on Tuesday night that NEET grace marks were awarded to students who raised concerns about the loss of exam time and the decision has been taken as per court order. In a post on social media handle X, formerly known as Twitter, ''The loss of examination time was ascertained and such candidates were compensated with grace marks. So, candidate's marks can be 718 or 719 also.'

However, many students have expressed dissatisfaction with the NTA's statement and have demanded a re-examination. Medical Aspirants have also expressed doubt about the NEET toppers with the same sequence of roll numbers getting marks. In a post on X, an aspirant wrote, '#NEET Candidates with the same sequence starting with 2307010168, 333, 403, 460, 178, 037, 186, 198 topped from same centre'.

This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) on May 5 in a pen and paper mode for more than 24 lakh medical candidates. What's next?

All those who have qualified in the NEET UG 2024 exam are eligible to appear in the counselling which will be conducted for All India Quota 15% seats. Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will be also eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. To participate in the NEET UG counselling 2024, the candidates will have to register themselves on the official website of MCC. The AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities will be open to all NEET qualified candidates. The schedule for the counselling will be communicated in due course of time.

What are documents required for counselling?

To appear in the NEET UG 2024 couselling, the canddiates are required to carry the following documents. 

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)
  • Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
  • ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
  • Eight passport size photographs
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
