NEET UG Answer Key 2024 Soon: Check when and where to download

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer keys for NEET UG 2024 exam which was conducted on May 5. The candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check and download the answer key from the official website – exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) on May 5 and the provisional answer keys are expected to be out soon. The NTA will also upload the scanned images of the OMR sheets and questions, along with the answer key. The candidates will be able to download it from the official website, by using their login credentials.i.e. their date of birth and application number.

The NEET exam (for undergraduate medical courses) was held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam took place in 557 cities in India and 14 cities abroad with over 24 lakh students.

After the provisional answer key gets released, NTA will provide the objection window from where candidates can raise any objection against the provisional answer key, if any. When NTA provides the objection window, candidates are required to pay an amount per objection (Rs 200 per question) and the window typically stays open for 3 to 4 days. NTA reviews the objections and prepares the final answer key.

How to download the provisional answer key?

  1. Visit the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/
  2. Navigate to the link to NEET UG provisional answer key
  3. Login with application number and date of birth
  4. Submit it
  5. The answer key will be displayed on the screen. Download it and save it

How to raise objections against NEET UG answer key?

  1. Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in
  2. Open the NEET UG exam page
  3. Login with date of birth and application number
  4. Check the answer key
  5. If individuals find any answer in the provisional key incorrect, then open the challenge answer key tab
  6. Follow the instructions provided there to raise objection
  7. Submit the request after paying the fee

In 2023, the provisional answer keys were released on June 4 and the candidate's were allowed to raise objections by June 12. The testing agency released the results on June 13 and final answer keys on June 15. In 2022, NEET official answer keys were released on August 31 along with the OMR sheets. The objection window was open for two days.
