NBEMS to announce NEET PG new exam date soon, check expected date, and other details

NEET PG new exam date will be soon announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Candidates who registered themselves for the said exam can download the timetable from the official website, natboard.edu.in, once released.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will soon announce the exam dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate courses (NEET PG). As per a report published by Indian Express, the new dates for NEET PG 2024 will be released this week. However, the exact date of releasing the schedule is not yet confirmed by the officials. The announcement of the exam schedule will be done based on the discussion with the government, TCS, and logistics Partner.

Earlier, the NEET PG 2024 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 23, which was postponed by the health ministry as a 'precautionary measure' the day before the exam.

Last week, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the new dates for the medical exam would be shared by Monday or Tuesday. Once released, the candidates will be able to check the NEET PG 2024 exam dates on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

How to check NEET PG 2024 revised dates?

  • Visit the official website of NBE, natboard.edu.in
  • Click on the NEET PG 2024 tab
  • Now, click on the respective notification
  • A PDF containing the exam date, time, and other details will appear on the screen
  • Download and save NEET PG 2024 revised dates for future reference

What is NEET PG?

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate), or NEET PG is an entrance exam in India conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for determining the eligibility of candidates for admission to postgraduate medical programmes in government or private medical colleges, such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), PG Diploma, Diplomate of National Board (DNB), Doctorate of National Board (DrNB), and NBEMS diploma. Candidates having a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate as per the Indian Medical Council Act, and MBBS registration certificate issued by the Indian or state medical council and have completed one year of internship or will be completing the internship, are eligible to apply for the exam.
