The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024 hall tickets has been released today, June 10. Registered candidates can now access and download their admit cards from the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in, by using their registration number and password. This year, KTET exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 22 and June 23 which will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. KTET 2024: Steps to download the admit card
Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to check and download their admit cards from the official website:-
- Visit the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link 'Kerala TET admit card/hall ticket download'.
- Then, a new page will open. Enter all the required login credentials and click on 'Submit'.
- The admit card of KTET 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Save and download it for future reference.

KTET 2024: Exam details
The KTET exam is conducted for 4 different categories i.e. Category 1, Category, 2, Category 3, and Category 4, to determine the eligibility of the candidates for teaching positions in Classes 1 to Class 10 including language teaching roles in schools of Kerala.
Category 1 will be conducted for aspiring teachers of lower primary Classes 1 to 5, and Category 2 for those candidates who wish to teach the upper primary Classes 6 to 8. Category 3 will be held for candidates who aim to teach in the high school i.e. Classes 9 to 10, and Category 4 will get conducted for high school teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
KTET 2024: Exam pattern
The KTET exam pattern for each of these papers is described below:
- The nature of each paper is objective type, having MCQs.
- The paper will be of 150 marks in total.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The duration of each paper is 2.5 hours.
- The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
- Per correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
- No penalties for any incorrect answer
