The admission process for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme has commenced for the academic year 2024-26 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The interested candidates can fill up the registration form from the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in, till June 15. Candidates who qualified the CAT 2023 are also eligible for JNU MBA admissions.
To participate in the admission process, candidates coming from General, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Section backgrounds must have obtained 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent in the qualifying degree. Candidates belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and person with disabilities background, there is a five percent relaxation, and candidates from these backgrounds are eligible to apply if they have a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate.

JNU MBA Admission 2024: How to apply?
Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to apply for the MBA program:-
- Visit the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
- Click on the link 'JNU MBA 2024 Registration' on the homepage.
- Then, fill out the online application with required details like personal details and qualification details.
- Upload the required scanned photograph and signature.
- Upload the category certificate (if required).
- Upload the class 10th and class 12th, graduation mark sheets along with the valid CAT GMAT score certificate (CAT 2021).
- Then, pay the fee through online payment mode.
- Click on submit.
- Save and download it for future reference.
JNU MBA 2024: Selection Process
The candidates seeking admission in the MBA programme have to be Common Admission Test (CAT) qualified. The candidates must submit their registration number and score of the CAT examination. The score obtained by the candidate in the CAT examination will be used by the authorities of JNU to short-list the applications for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The number of applications will get shortlisted based on the CAT score merit, for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview, for at least seven times the number of seats(in each category). The final list of candidates will be made based on the following :
- Group Discussion- 10 percent weightage
- Personal Interview- 20 percent weightage
- CAT Score- 70 percent weightage
JNU MBA Admission 2024: Application fees
The MBA programme offered by Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers a total of 75 seats. The candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee to complete the process of registration. For the candidates of the General Category, the fee is Rs 2000, and the candidates coming from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons With Disabilities background will have to pay Rs 1000.
