The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2024 response sheets today, May 31. Candidates can now check and download the JEE Advanced response sheet from the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
Moreover, JEE Advanced 2024 provisional answer keys will be released on June 2. The candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answer keys by June 3. After reviewing the representations, the institute will release the final answer keys and results on June 9. The JEE Advanced 2024 exam was conducted on May 26, for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Paper 2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

What is JEE advanced 2024 tie-breaking criteria?
If two or more candidates score the same marks in JEE Advanced 2024, the institute will implement the tie-break policy for awarding ranks which is as follows.
- If a candidate scored higher score higher positive marks will be awarded a higher mark. If the tie-breaking criteria at step 1 fails to break the tie, then the following criterion at step 2 will be followed.
- A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in physics. If there is a tie even after this, a candidate will be assigned the same rank.
