JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Madras to release final answer keys, results on June 9, Check full details

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is releasing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced results and final answer key tomorrow, June 9. The candidates will be able to access their results at - jeeadv.ac.in.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is releasing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced results and final answer key on June 9 at 10:00 am. Candidates will be able to check and download their results from the official website - jeeadv.ac.in, by using their registration number and password. 

This year, the exam was conducted on May 26. The exam consisted of two papers containing three sections - physics, chemistry, and math, including multiple-choice questions, multiple-select questions, and numerical questions. After only considering the feedback submitted by the candidates, the final answer keys will be declared on Sunday before the results by the authorities. The candidates must pass both papers individually and attain a minimum aggregate score. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) will be available on the website once the results are declared. 

The candidates clearing the exams will be eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling to secure seats in their respective institutes. After the declaration of the final answer key and result, the online registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be open till June 10 and the test for the same will be conducted on June 12. The results of the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 will be declared on June 14, as per the official notification.

JEE Advanced 2024: Steps to check and download final answer key

Once the final key gets declared, candidates can follow the mentioned steps to check and download their answer key:

  • Visit the official website - jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Click on the link 'JEE Advanced 2024 final answer key'.
  • Then, log in using the registration number, mobile number, and date of birth.
  • The final answer key will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save and download it for future reference.

JEE Advanced 2024: Details mentioned in result

Before downloading the results, the candidates are advised to check all the details mentioned:-

  • Roll number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of birth
  • Qualifying status
  • All India Rank secured (AIR)
  • Category-wise All India Rank (AIR)
  • Subject-wise scores (both Paper 1 and 2)
  • Section-wise scores (both Paper 1 and 2)
  • Total marks

JEE Advanced 2024: Steps to download results

Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to check and download their results:-

  • Visit the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Click on the link 'JEE Advanced Result 2024' on the homepage.
  • Enter the login credentials i.e. roll number, date of birth, and phone number.
  • Click on 'Submit'.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save and download it for future reference.

JEE Advanced 2024: JoSAA counselling process to commence soon

Once the results are announced, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the online counselling for IITs and other institutes. The tentative start date of the Joint Seat Allocation process is Monday, June 10. Only the candidates who qualify in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced are eligible for JoSAA counselling. The candidates who will be the qualifiers of JEE Advanced can apply for seats in both IIT and NIT, and the JEE Main qualifiers can apply for seats in NIT seats, including the NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, and other GFTIs for the undergraduate courses. Following the JoSAA rounds, the counselling round will be organised by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) for leftover seats in NIT. JoSAA provides counselling support for 118 different institutions.

JEE Advanced 2024: Last year's statistics

Last year a total of 2,50,255 candidates qualified for the JEE Advanced examination, of which 1,89,487 candidates registered and 1,80,372 appeared in both paper 1 and paper 2. 43,769 candidates managed to qualify for the exam and 17,340 candidates were allotted seats in the IITs, of which, 13,918 were recorded as males and 3,422 females.
