The University of Delhi will release the seat allotment result of round 1 for postgraduate courses tomorrow, June 22, as per the schedule. Candidates who applied for the PG admission will be able to check the round 1 allotment results on the official CSAS portal, pgadmission.uod.ac.in or admission.uod.ac.in. The allocation and admission will be done in three rounds and it may be extended if required, as per the availability of vacant seats that arise due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals.
According to the admission schedule, once the allocation of candidates' seats are done on the dashboard, they have to accept their seats between June 22 (5:00 pm)to June 27 (4:59 pm). The verification and approval of the online applications will be done between June 22 and 27 by the departments, colleges, and centres. The last date for candidates to pay the required admission fee is June 28, 4:59 pm.
DU PG 2024: Second and Third round for seat allotment
The second round list will be released on July 2, at 5 pm and the candidates will have to confirm their seats by July 6. Candidates will be able to verify and approve the online application by July 8 (4:59 pm). Candidates will have to pay the fee against the second list till July 9 and the candidates will be able to apply for the mid-entry process from July 11 (5:00 pm) to July 13 (5:00 pm).
The third round will commence on July 16 (5:00 pm) and the candidates will have to accept the allocated seats till July 19 (5:00 pm). The verification and approval of the online application will be done from July 16 to July 20 and candidates will be required to pay the fees till July 21 (4:59 pm).
DU PG 2024: Common Seat Allocation System
Candidates who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG and meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for CSAS PG 2024. The University of Delhi conducts the counselling process through the Common Seat Allocation System for post-graduate programmes (CSAS PG) including various new programmes offered by the institute. The CSAS(PG) is a single window for admission to all PG programs of all departments and colleges of the university.
The seats are getting allotted for the non-collegiate women's education board, BTech courses, BBA LLB and BA LLB courses for the UG candidates, including PG courses such as MA in Chinese Studies, MA in Korean Studies, MA in Hindu Studies, MA in Public Health, Master of Fine Arts, etc.
After taking admission to any programme, a candidate who wishes to withdraw from it will be able to do so through their dashboard by selecting the 'Withdraw' option and paying a non-refundable withdrawal fee of Rs 1000.
