Delhi University Admission 2024: Registration begins for Undergraduate courses at admission.uod.ac.in

The University of Delhi (DU) has started the registration procedure for admission to various undergraduate programmes through CUET DU CSAS Portal. The registration forms can be submitted at the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes can submit application forms before the last date. Admission to undergraduate programmes will be done through CUET scores for some courses and class 12 marks for other courses.

Delhi University Admission 2024 procedure involves three stages

According to the official notification, admission to all undergraduate programmes will be done based on the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 (CUET UG 2024) only. The admission procedure will be conducted in three phases. The first phase started with the registrations at the DU CSAS portal, where candidates need to provide their personal information along with their class 12 academic scores. The second stage of the CSAS UG process will begin with the announcement of the CUET results.  During this phase, The candidates will have to log in on their dashboards' and fill in the preferences for programs and colleges. The third phase will include allocation-cum-admission of the student.

As per the CSAS guidelines, the university will release simulated ranks once the preference-filling phase concludes. Candidates will have an opportunity to edit their preferences based on these simulated ranks. After which, there will be no further chance to modify preferences.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for admission to Delhi University Colleges, the candidates are required to appear in the Common University Entrance Test 2024 in the disciplines in which they are appearing or have passed class 12. Admissions to undergraduate programmes will be primarily based on the scores obtained in the CUET UG 2024 only.

Admission to 71,000 undergraduate seats to be provided

The University of Delhi will provide admission to 71,000 undergraduate seats for the academic session 2024-25 for 79 undergraduate programs and 183 BA program combinations across its 69 colleges. 

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General Category, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- whereas the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Person with Disabilities will have to pay Rs. 100/-.
