The Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has declared the result of the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 2024 today, June 27. Candidates can now access and download their results from the official websites, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in or cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET.
APSCHE will be conducting multiple rounds of a centralized counselling process to enroll the qualified candidates into various law schools within the state. The counselling process will include steps such as online registration, choice filling (Web options), document verification, and fee payment. Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on their merit in the entrance test.

The AP LAWCET examination is conducted to enroll eligible candidates into three-year and five-year LLB programmes offered by various law institutes of Andhra Pradesh. The courses offered are - BA LLB, BCom LLB, BSc LLB, BBA LLB, BLS LLB, BTech LLB, and LLB. The exam was conducted on June 9 in one shift, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The preliminary answer key for AP LAWCET was released on June 10, at 6:00 pm. The candidates were able to raise objections against the provided answer key on June 11 and 12 and after reviewing all the objections by a group of experts, the final answer key was released.
The test was conducted online in a computer-based test (CBT) format, consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions. There were three categories in the exam namely - aptitude for the study of law, current affairs, and general knowledge and mental ability. The candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer and incorrect answers, there will be no negative marking. There are no qualifying marks for reserved categories such as scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates.
