The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) will end the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2024 counselling registration process tomorrow, June 30. Qualified candidates who have not yet completed the counselling registration can do so on the official website, ecet-sche.aptonline.in. Qualified candidates with a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 marks (25 per cent of the total) are eligible to apply. Candidates will require the hall ticket number and date of birth to access and register themselves for the counselling.
Once the registration is completed, for online verification of uploaded certificates, the candidates will have to visit the notified help line centres(HLCs). Candidates must complete document verification by July 3, as per the official schedule. Candidates coming from the OC and BC categories must pay the application fee of Rs 1200 and the candidates belonging to the SC or ST categories must pay Rs 600.
This year, the AP ECET exam was conducted on May 8 and the result was declared on May 30. The exam is conducted to enroll eligible diploma holders of engineering technology, pharmacy and BSc graduates, under the lateral entry scheme, to the 2nd year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy programmes offered at various universities and AICTE/PCI-approved institutions within the state.
AP ECET Counselling: Step to apply
Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to apply for the counselling before deadline:-
- Visit the official website, ecet-sche.aptonline.in.
- Under 'Forms', click on the link 'Candidate registration'.
- A login window will open.
- Enter all the required login credentials such as hall ticket number and date of birth.
- Click on 'Submit'.
- A new window will open.
- Enter all the details and fill in the application form.
- Then, upload the required documents and click on 'Submit'.
- Proceed to pay the fee and click on 'Submit'.
- Save and download it for future reference.
