The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) commenced the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2024 counselling registration process today, June 26. The qualified candidates can fill out the counselling form on the official website, ecet-sche.aptonline.in till June 30.
This year, the AP ECET exam was conducted on May 8 and the result was declared on May 30. The exam is conducted to enrol eligible candidates for diploma holders of engineering technology, pharmacy and BSc graduates, under the lateral entry scheme, to the 2nd year of BE/ BTech/ BPharmacy programmes offered at various universities and AICTE/PCI-approved institutions within the state.
AP ECET Counselling: Fees
Candidates from the OC and BC category are required to pay the application fee of Rs 1200 and the candidates belonging to the SC or ST category are required to pay Rs 600. The counselling will be conducted online and the qualified candidates with a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 marks (25 per cent of the total) are eligible to apply.
AP ECET Counselling: How to apply?
Candidates can follow the mentioned steps to apply for the counselling:-
- Visit the official website, ecet-sche.aptonline.in.
- Under Forms, click on the link 'Candidate registration'.
- A login window will open.
- Enter all the required login credentials such as hall ticket number and date of birth.
- Click on 'Submit'.
- A new window will open.
- Enter all the details and fill in the application form.
- Then, upload the required documents and click on 'Submit'.
- Then proceed to pay the fee and click on 'Submit'.
- Save and download it for future reference.
