CGPSC state service exam 2018: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the notification for the state service examination, which is scheduled to take place on February 17, 2019. Candidates can check detailed information on the notification for CGPSC state service exam 2018 easily at psc.cg.gov.in.While the application forms will be available from December 7, 2018 onwards, it will close on January 5, 2019. CGPSC will conduct the main exam on June 21, 22, 23 and 24 for as many as 160 posts.
Only those who qualify the main exam will be called for the interview. The merit list will be prepared by the aggregate of marks awarded to them in the main examination and the interview round.

Candidates interested in CGPSC SSE should be graduates of any recognised university or institute.

The candidate should not be below 21 years and must not exceed 30 years. Age relaxation is in place for the reserved category.

The general category has to pay Rs 400 while for reserved category needs to give Rs 300.
CGPSC prelims 2018 exam pattern
The preliminary examination will be objective type, having two compulsory papers of two hours duration. Both the question papers will have objective type multiple choice questions with five choices of answers for each question. Negative marking will be done for incorrect answers.
1. First question paper: General Studies (Question 100, Marks 200, Duration – two hours), for each wrong answer 1/3 marks of correct answer will be deducted. ‘
2. Second question paper: Aptitude Test (Question 100, Marks 200, duration – two hours) for each incorrect answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
