Meghna Srivastava, the CBSE All-India Topper of Class 12, in an exclusive conversation with India TV Digital, shared how she didn't get bogged down by the demise of her maternal grandfather just before her Economics Exam. It definitely came as a huge blow for her as she was really close to him. But, she used it as a strength and emerged as the All-India CBSE Class 12 Topper with 499 out of 500 marks.
"Before my Economics Exam, my grandfather passed away. Instead of letting that get me down, I used it as a strength," Meghna told India TV.
When asked about her success mantra behind getting an unprecedented 499 out of 500, she stressed on the need for hardwork and consistency.
Srivastava, who studied at Noida's Step By Step School, secured 99 marks in English (Core), while in the other subjects --Psychology, History, Geography and Economics -- she scored a perfect 100.
