Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has released the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET 2018 on its official websites cbseneet(.)nic(.)in and cbseresults(.)nic(.)in. The results were announced shortly after Supreme Court rejected the plea to postpone the results.
Here is a look at the counselling process for NEET 2018:
As many as 14 lakh students have reportedly appeared for NEET 2018 examination conducted by CBSE on May 6, 2018.
The examination was conducted in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Urdu and 8 regional languages.
CBSE had released the Answer Keys and OMR Sheets for the medical entrance examination on May 24.
The board would now be releasing the results and the All India Merit/ Rank List. Following the same, the counselling proess would be initiated.
Please note, CBSE would only be releasing the NEET Results 2018 and the All India Rank List for NEET 2018. The counselling for NEET Undergraduate admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in Government Medical Colleges would be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee, MCC.
The schedule for UG Counselling would be released by MCC on the official website mcc.nic.in. After the results, the counselling schedule would be released by MCC. Students are then required to apply for online counselling.
Please note, the responsibility of CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for counselling of 15 per cent All India Quota Seats, Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of ESIC & AFMC including BHU & AMU and providing the result to the State Counselling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.
