The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Friday declared the results of the HSLC (Class 10) and HSSLC (Class 12) examinations. Students can check their scores on the official website nbsenagaland(.)com and examresults(>)net/nagaland and India results.
As per the information provided by the board, Vivotsonuo Sorhie of Mezhür Hr.Sec.School, Kohima, topped the Nagaland Class 10th Exam this year with 98.33% score. Sherry Jindal from Holy Cross Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur and Raj Paul from Pranab Vidyapith Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur, secured second rank with 97.83% result. Leishembi NG Lyting from Mezhür Hr.Sec.School, Kohima, came third with 97.50% marks.
Meanwhile, Benrithung L Jungio from Don Bosco Hr.Sec.School, Wokha, topped the Class 12th Arts stream with 91.40% marks. Marina Yashmin from Pranab Vidyapith Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur, secured the first rank in Commerce stream with 97.20% marks. Virienuo Emilia Solo from Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, topped the Science stream with 91.60% score.

The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education officially conducted the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 examination from March 9-March 21 and High Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Class 12 exams from March 8-March 29.
A total of 1,945 students enrolled for the Class 10 Examination and out of which 818 have cleared the exams. Meanwhile, out of the 2,318 students who appeared for the exams, 920 candidates have cleared the examination. The pass percentage of male is 42.06 per cent while 39.69 per cent female candidates have cleared the examination.
The overall pass percentage in government schools in Arts stream, science stream, and commerce stream are 76.19 per cent, 83.76 per cent and 66.93 per cent respectively. Meanwhile, in private schools, a pass percentage of 82.23 per cent, 89.65 and 81.96 per cent were recorded in the arts, science and commerce streams respectively.
