The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the result of Class 12 examination. And the girls outperformed the boys -- yet again.
Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora were declared joint toppers -- with 499 marks each, with the overall pass percentage being 83.4 per cent.
CBSE Class 12 exam began on February 15 and concluded on April 4 while Class 10 exam began on February 21 and concluded on March 29.
Students can check their respective scores at cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
The Class 12 exam began earlier than previous years. The results, which is usually announced by the third week of May, is also announced earlier than scheduled.
Around 13 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination conducted by the CBSE.
Microsoft, like last year, partnered with the CBSE to provide results through their app -- SMS Organiser.
Students could pre-register on 'SMS Organiser' and receive the result as soon as it is announced by CBSE.
