CBSE NEET 2018 Result: Check Live Online Updates | 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET 2018 on its official websites cbseneet(.)nic(.)in and cbseresults(.)nic(.)in. The announcement came shortly after Supreme Court rejected the plea to postpone the results.

The board would now be releasing the results and the All India Merit/ Rank List. Following the same, the counselling process would be initiated. 

CBSE NEET 2018 result declared today at cbseneet.nic.in. Results have ended the wait of more than 13 lakh students who appealed in the NEET UG 2018 exam on May 6. This year, the board had conducted the exam in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Urdu and eight regional languages. 

Counselling process

The CBSE's role is only limited to releasing the NEET Results 2018 and the All India Rank List for NEET 2018. The counselling for NEET Undergraduate admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in Government Medical Colleges would be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee, MCC. 

The schedule for UG Counselling would be released by MCC on the official website mcc.nic.in. After the results, the counselling schedule would be released by MCC. Students are then required to apply for online counselling. 

About CBSE NEET 2018 

CBSE conducts NEET UG exam to give admissions into MBBS and BDS courses. It is a national-level exam and apart from AIIMS and JIPMER, all other medical and dental institutes accept NEET score to give admissions to undergraduate medical and dental courses.

CBSE NEET 2018 was conducted on May 6, 2018 at 2,255 examination centres. This year, nearly 14 lakh candidates appeared for the medical entrance exam that was conducted on May 6, 2018. A total of exact 13,26,725 candidates had registered for the exam this year, held in an offline mode. The answer key for NEET 2018 exam was released on May 25. Candidates were given a chance to raise objections on the answer keys till May 27.
