The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) declared the results of the common admission test (CAT) 2017 on Monday on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Meanwhile, reports claimed that 20 candidates have scored an overall 100 percentile in CAT 2017.
Earlier the results were expected to be announced on January 5 but were postponed for unknown reasons.
The CAT 2017 was held on November 26 at the various test centres across the nation in around 140 test cities. A total of 199,632 students appeared for the exam to get admission in top B-Schools including IIMs.
Here is how candidates can check their scores online:
- Go to the official website iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the link: 'score card for CAT 2017'
- Enter the user ID and password in the space provided
- The result will be displayed on the screen. Take a printout for future reference
Following the release of scores, various IIMs will now announce their admission criteria largely based on CAT score, writing ability, group discussion and personal interviews.
India has 20 IIMs admitting nearly 4,000 students into their flagship two-year management programs.
