The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today released the notification of the Civil Services preliminary examination 2018 on upsconline.nic.in
The last date for receipt of application for the preliminary examination is March 6, 2018 till 6pm.
The preliminary examination will be held on June 3, 2018.
According to the UPSC notification, the candidates shall be issued an e-admission certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination and will be available on the official website.
Approximately 782 vacancies would be filled through the examination.
The UPSC conducts civil services examination to fill administrative positions in different All-India Services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS.
The civil services examination is conducted in three stages - preliminary, main and interview.
