Railways Group D Recruitment 2018: 62,907 vacancies announced; click here to apply

The Railway Recruitment Board has invited online applications to fill 62,907 vacancies in the Indian Railways Group D. The process started from February 10, 2018 and will end on March 12, 2018.

The Regional Railway Recruitment Boards have hosted the CEN 02/2018 notification on their respective websites that was eagerly awaited by thousands of individuals in the country. Selected candidates will be placed at Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix and Class 10th passed individuals with or without ITI are eligible to apply.

The vacancies are for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade IV (Trackman), Gangman, Pointsman, Switchman, helpers in electrical/ engineering/ mechanical/ signal and telecommunication department, and porters.

The minimum monthly pay will be ₹18,000/- + Allowances. Candidates interested in applying for Railway Group D Recruitment 2018 can follow the instructions below and apply on or before March 12, 2018 on their respective region’s RRB website.

Step 2 – Click on Recruitment tab

Step 3 – Click on the Railway Recruitment Board for which you wish to apply

Step 4 – Click here to Apply for CEN 02/2018

Step 5 – Register Yourself, fill the application form, upload documentation, pay the application fee and complete the application process

Step 6 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

Application Fee:

Unreserved Category – ₹500

SC/ST/PWD/Women/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward/Ex-Serviceman - ₹250

Application fee can be paid online and offline both.

Railways Recruitment 2018 – CEN 02/2018 Notification

Candidates must go through the detailed notification to find all details about this largest recruitment drive by the Indian Railways .

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted via Computer Based Test (CBT). Qualified candidates will undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Marks of CBT will be normalized.

Academic Qualification:

The applicant must possess a passing certificate of Class 10th or ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or holding National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Age Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 31 years as on 1st July 2018. Age-relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
