Countdown to BITSAT begins: All you need to know

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has started the countdown to the latest edition of its entrance exam by releasing the list of allotted cities to the registered candidates for the BITSAT 2019 exam. The slot booking will start from April 5, registered candidates can reserve the date and time for the test from 10:00am April 5, BITS Pilani said in a statement. BITSAT is an admission test conducted for admission into BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The yearly test enrols students for Honours degrees offered by BITS.

Steps to check the BITSAT test city?

Students need to visit the admission portal of BITSAT 2019, click on the city allotment link given. You will be asked for login credentials which will be your application number and password. Allotted centre will be displayed on the screen

How to book a slot?
The candidates can book the date and time for test by going on the official website for the institute. The website www.bitsadmission.com will have the link uploaded when the bookings start.

Any requests for change of exam centre will not be entertained.

Once the candidate chooses the date and time no changes will be allowed.

When will the slot bookings start?
The slot booking will start from April 5, registered candidates can reserve the date and time for the test from 10:00am April 5

What about the admit card?
The candidates can download their admit cards as soon as they finish the slot booking process.

When is the exam?
The exam will be conducted between May 16 and May 26 in various cities in India and abroad.

What is the exam pattern?
The exam will be complete online and computer-based pattern. It will have four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English & Logical Reasoning.

What all needs to be carried?
Two mandatory things as per BITSAT guidelines are: a Pen (for rough work and sign) and your admit card of BITSAT exam.

What you can not carry inside?
No paper, calculator, log tables, mobiles are allowed. Do not take any risks of unfair means as the center would be fully examined via camera.
