As per the last notice, the summer vacations are till May 31. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to re-opening of schools have been issued as well.
West Bengal will hold Class 12 board examinations in late July, chief minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Thursday. She said Class 10 tests will be conducted in mid-August.
In the board exam meeting held last week, it was suggested to conduct exam in shorter duration (90 minutes), for 20 important subjects and from home centres. The decision on whether to conduct class 12 exam is likely by June 1.
