Swati Maliwal assault case: In the latest development, the Delhi Police is expected to go to the Chief Minister's residence with Swati Maliwal to recreate the scene of the alleged assault. According to various reports, the altercation took place in the drawing room. AAP Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal on Thursday broke her silence over the alleged assault on her, saying she has recorded her statement with the Delhi Police and the BJP should not indulge in politics over the incident.

Following this, the Delhi Police is expected to lodge an FIR. The police have slapped sections 354, 506, 509, and 323 of the IPC against Bibhav Kumar. In the complaint, there was talk of assault on chest, stomach and private parts, hence section 354 of molestation was added.

Police are also expected to record Swati Maliwal's statements in front of the judge. Delhi Police has also written to the CM residence for the footage of CCTV cameras. Police say that the statements of all the people present at the CM residence at the time of the incident will be recorded.

Kejriwal's statement may likely be recorded. The statements of the security guard present at the gate and the staff of Arvind Kejriwal's house will be recorded first. Because Arvind Kejriwal was mentioned in the PCR call, if necessary, the statements of Arvind Kejriwal will also be recorded. Delhi Police will also record the statement of the auto driver in which Swati Maliwal left.
