A firing incident at around 1:30 PM on Wednesday was reported at Tiz Hazari court. According to reports, two different groups of lawyers including office bearers had allegedly shot in the air. No one was injured in the firing. Police after inspecting the on-ground said the situation was normal and legal action is being initiated.
In the video, it was visible that the two groups, mostly in white shirts, were carrying sticks and also hurled abuses at each other. In another video, bullet shells could be seen on the spot where shots were fired.
"Investigation will be conducted from all angles. We will probe how the arms were carried inside. No person detained till now: Parmaditya," Joint CP-Central Range on firing incident in Delhi's Tis Hazari court premises today.
Following the incident, the Bar Council of Delhi on Wednesday suspended the licence of lawyer Manish Sharma
