Atmosphere of dictatorship in country, institutions under pressure, alleges Arvind Kejriwal | Exclusive

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in an exclusive conversation with India TV claimed that their INDIA bloc is going to win 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections including all the seven seats in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that leaders like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, and others went to jail while fighting for independence and he went to jail to save the country. Speaking exclusively to India TV, Kejriwal said that there is an atmosphere of dictatorship in the country and institutions are under pressure.

Kejriwal alleged that there is an atmosphere of dictatorship in the country, and institutions are being pressurised. The Delhi CM further alleged that Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia were asked that if they join the BJP, they will get bail.

Speaking about his interim bail, Kejriwal said the Supreme Court acted in favour of the democracy.

Responding to PM Modi's 'chor' remark on Kejriwal, the Delhi CM said this means he accepts that he doesn't have any proof, and if there is no proof then leave me free. 

Kejriwal said if Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns to power, this country will not survive, democracy will end.

The PMLA is against the opposition, whosoever will raise their voice against the PM Modi will be put in jail, Kejriwal said. 

The Delhi Chief Minister further said that unemployment and inflation are election issues, and alleged that the RSS and BJP are fighting, RSS ground workers are not working for the saffron party.

Kejriwal said he's not worried about the CM chair, his party won the Delhi Assembly elections two times with an absolute majority, PM Modi realised that he could not defeat me, if he resigns then the BJP will succeed in its strategy, next target will be Mamata Banerjee.

Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Uddhav Thackeray will be put to jail, Kejriwal said.  

The Delhi CM slammed the BJP for questioning his parents in the Swati Maliwal alleged assault case.  

Responding to his earlier statement that all are corrupt, Kejriwal said that at present his priority is to save the country, individuals are not important.

Predicting how many seats the Opposition will get in the Lok Sabha elections, Arvind Kejriwal said that their INDIA bloc is going to win 300 seats including all seven in Delhi and 13 in Punjab.

When asked to respond on Swati Maliwal's alleged assault case, Arvind Kejriwal declined to comment saying he won't speak on this issue since it's sub-judice adding they will accept whatever decision is given by the courts.

On Raghav Chaddha, Kejriwal said that his Rajya Sabha seat is secure.
