Following his interim bail release from Tihar jail in the Delhi Excise Policy case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is set to convene a meeting with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs on Sunday. The meeting, to be held at the Chief Minister's residence in Civil Lines, will mark the first gathering of all 62 AAP MLAs with Kejriwal since the latter's release.

Elaborating on the development, party sources said tomorrow's key meeting will focus on deliberations over the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi scheduled for May 25. Furthermore, it is pertinent to note that the Supreme Court, on Friday (May 10), granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal to campaign for the ongoing Lok Sabha polls. Post the release of the AAP leaders, the war of words between AAP and the BJP has intensified in the capital.

Earlier, in his first press conference after his release, the Delhi Chief Minister slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for 'wanting to crush the AAP and sending four leaders of the party to jail simultaneously'.

Calling PM Modi a "dictator," the AAP supremo further mentioned that all opposition leaders would be jailed if the BJP returned to power. He said, "By arresting Kejriwal, they have given the message that if Kejriwal is arrested then they will arrest anyone. The name of this mission is 'One Nation, One Leader.'"

Further, Arvind Kejriwal, during the speech, in a blistering attack against PM Modi and the BJP, questioned who would be PM after Modi turns 75 next year. He said, "These people ask the I.N.D.I.A bloc who will be their Prime Minister. I ask BJP who will be your Prime Minister? PM Modi is turning 75, on 17th September. He made a rule that leaders in the party would retire after 75 years. LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan, and Yashwant Sinha were retired and now PM Modi is going to retire on 17th September."

"If their government is formed, they will first dispose of Yogi Adityanath and then make Amit Shah the Prime Minister of the country. PM Modi is asking for votes for Amit Shah. Will Amit Shah fulfil Modi's guarantee?," CM Kejriwal added.

Meanwhile, prior to addressing a press conference earlier in the day, Kejriwal visited the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal. Kejriwal, who walked out of Tihar Jail after 50 days in judicial custody on Friday night, was also accompanied by his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, and Delhi minister Atishi.
