The Enforcement Directorate officials reached Delhi Arvind Kejriwal's residence with a search warrant in the liquor policy case. The move has come after the Delhi High Court earlier today denied to give protection from arrest to the Chief Minister in the excise policy case.
Arvind Kejriwal has moved the court in the wake of the latest summons, the ninth issued by the ED, asking him to appear before it on Thursday.

Lawyer Rukmani Singh argued that the Delhi government's practice of using the consolidated fund to pay the salaries of Imams is in violation of the Constitution. The High Court bench observed that the issue requires consideration and scheduled the next hearing on the case on July 22.
The case pertains to alleged corruption and money laundering in formulating and executing the Delhi government's excise policy for 2021-22, which was later scrapped.
The incident occurred in Kabir Nagar area wherein two workers lost their lives and one sustained critical injuries. The police rushed to the spot after they received a call in the wee hours of Thursday.
