Man stabbed to death in UP
A man was stabbed to death and his brother seriously injured allegedly by youth in the Jhinjhana area here, police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Patnipratapur village Tuesday night, they said.
A youth, Mithun, entered the house of the brothers and attacked them with a knife, police said.
While Bharat, 35, died on the spot, his brother and village head Itwari Singh was seriously injured in the attack, they said.
Singh was rushed to a hospital in serious condition, police added.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the accused, they said.
In another incident, a man, identified as Nawab Ali, 45, was allegedly beaten to death and his son seriously injured by a neighbour over some dispute at Pawti Kalan village in Shamli district Tuesday night, police said.
