The case was heard at Crook Coroner's Court in County Durham where it was revealed that both Mann and Parr killed Harrison with a motive of eating his liver. But in the last minute the killers dropped the plan to continue with this act of cannibalism.

Harrison was imprisoned for an indefinite time for raping a girl with a razor blade and disposable knife.

The investigating detective chief inspector told the court that how the killers were fantasized by the thought of killing someone from the prison which had excited them.
