After six advocates denied defending Sharma due to unacceptable terms and conditions, Sharma did not have a lawyer after November 2001.

The trial court awarded death sentence to Sushil Kumar in 2003 which was confirmed by Delhi High Court in 2007.

Now the entire nation awaits the verdict of Supreme Court in the brutal killing of Naina Sahni by her husband Sushil Kumar Sharma. Hopefully the justice is not denied after a wait of six long years.
