The body of 29-year old Naina Sahni was found burning inside the Tandoor. Naina was murdered by her husband Sushil Kumar Sharma, who was then presiding over the Youth Wing of Congress party.

The restaurant manager Keshav Kumar had initially claimed that he had burning Congress banner inside the Tandoor causing the smoke.
