New Delhi: On the night of July 2 1995, two constables of Delhi police saw smoke originating from Bagiya Restaurant in Ashok Yatri Niwas.

Giving rise to suspicion, the two constables entered the restaurant to find out what was burning. What they saw could not let them believe their eyes. Something huge was burning in the Tandoor. And when it was discovered what was burning inside the Tandoor, jitters were sent across the nation.
