Mughalsarai (UP), Jul 11: Mughalsarai government railway police on Wednesday morning arrested two passengers carrying Rs 33 lakh cash in Rs 10 denomination note bundles neatly packed in suitcases.

 
GRP staff during their routine check of Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express found the two persons carrying several suitcases with them.
 
When they asked the suitcases to be opened, they found the stacks of Rs 10 denomination notes with the RBI sealed covers on them.
 
The two passengers were also carrying two pistols with them. Both of them have been arrested and are being interrogated about the source of money.
 
A month ago, Mughalsarai police had seized Rs 38 lakhs cash in Rs 10 currency notes on the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Rajdhani Express in a similar fashion, GRP officials said.
