The packets were kept in the kitchen. The brutal act took place while Ayush was fast asleep. According to police, the chances of having blood spots in the house were very rare as the body was cut several hours after Deepti's death.

The following day, Sudhir  searched for the right place in the city to dispose off the chopped pieces.

The packets were taken by Sudhir on his scooter along with his son Ayush. The next day, Sudhir who had decided to dispose off the body in Marudhra, took his father's car and loaded the packets.

In his first attempt he tried throwing the packets at Mouda but later decided to go to Gondia.

Once Sudhir reached his native place Marudhra, he took help of some workers to dig two pits. He had told the workers that he wanted to plant trees. Then, he buried the packets and came back home with his son.
