Lt Gen Brar had life-threatening injuries when suspected Khalistan sympathisers stabbed him in the neck and cheek in central London last year.
The pro Khalistan supporters had tried to slash his throat, as a revenge for his role in leading Operation Blue Star to flush out extremists from the Sikh holy shrine of Golden Temple in Amritsar.
While Barjinder Singh Sangha, 33, had pleaded guilty to the offence early on in the case, Mandeep Singh Sandhu, 34, Dilbagh Singh, 36, and Harjit Kaur, 38, were found guilty following a trial at Southwark Crown Court in London on July 31.
