Meanwhile, a Mumbai police team today reached Tehelka office to collect information about the journalist, but the employees refused to provide information, saying they had no such permission from their seniors in Delhi.
The police team which reached Tehelka office at around 3 pm, stayed there for nearly an hour and returned empty-handed.
The lady journalist who sent in her resignation two days ago is reported to have done this “to be free from any kind of pressure”, sources close to her said.
The journalist told PTI that she had resigned.
