Panaji/New Delhi/Mumbai: The Tehelka journalist sexual assault scandal took fresh turns as the lady journalist who charged editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal of assaulting her twice in Goa, sent in her resignation, which was promptly accepted by the management.

Sources said, Ishan Tankha, the photo editor and Saugata Dasgupta, the literary editor in Tehelka have also put in their papers.

Embattled editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal today filed an anticipatory bail plea in Delhi High Court which posted it for hearing on Tuesday.

Goa Police DIG O P Mishra said in Panaji that the investigating officer has established contact with the woman journalist based in Mumbai. He appealed to the media to protect the lady's privacy.
