He said his son was so shaken by the incident that he refused to attend school for the next ten days. "It was only after the cops spoke to him and promised to post men outside the school gate that he agreed to attend classes."
Police laid several traps for him but was unsuccessful in tracking him.
Finally, a man identified the accused as his neighbor and led to the cops to a building on Perry Cross Road. "The accused is educated and belongs to an upper middle class family. He works in a call centre in Goregaon," said Senior Inspector Ramchandra Dhawle of the Bandra police station.
