The CCTV caught Inayat Ali as he entered the building and then the lobby. When the boy got into the lift, the accused also entered and pressed the terrace button. Sensing danger, the boy tried to get out of lift, but Inayat Ali pulled him in.

The boy, however, managed to shake himself loose and press the sixth-floor button, where his flat is. As the lift door opened on the sixth floor, he kicked Inayat Ali hard and jumped out of the lift. He then ran to his apartment and told his mother about the incident.
